For all veterinary medicines authorized under Directive 2001/82/EC, the summary of product characteristics, package insert, and labeling must be updated to comply with the Vet-QRD Template Version 9 by January 29, 2027, at the latest.
After this deadline, only veterinary medicinal products with QRD v9-compliant product information may be placed on the market. The only exceptions are products that are not currently being marketed; however, these must be updated accordingly before they are (re)marketed.
💡 Our tip: Check whether your approved veterinary medicinal products are affected by the transition and submit the required G.I.18 variations as soon as possible. We are happy to assist you with this!
