In our new format “More than my role,” we shine a spotlight on additional roles that employees in many companies—including ours—take on: mostly voluntarily, often behind the scenes, but always of great importance.
We kick things off with Kerstin Rosenmayr:
As office manager, she keeps our day-to-day work running smoothly – at the same time, she takes on a voluntary additional role as safety representative (SVP), which is of great importance to all colleagues: She is responsible for occupational health and safety in the company – this includes, for example, ensuring that workplaces are designed safely (including home offices), accident prevention, and working closely with the AUVA to ensure that there are no complaints from the labor inspectorate.
💡 Kerstin has been working as an SVP for six months and has already learned a lot during this time – especially in the areas of HR and facility management – which also benefits her in her work as an office manager!
A particular success was this year’s positive electrical inspection, a comprehensive safety check of the electrical systems that is only carried out every ten years. “I was very happy and proud that everything went well.” 🙌
Kerstin is not only our office fairy, who keeps an eye on everything in everyday life, but also a reliable partner when it comes to safety and well-being. 😊
