In our “More than my role” series, we shine a spotlight on the additional roles that employees in many companies—including ours—take on: mostly voluntarily, often behind the scenes, but always with great significance.
This time, we introduce Maximilian Steindl:

His main role is Quality & Operations Project Manager, but he also serves as a first aider at our company. 🚑
Max has been volunteering as an emergency paramedic with the Austrian Red Cross for over seven years. When the company was looking for a first aider, it made sense for him to bring his experience to the workplace.
As a first aider, Max makes sure that everything works in an emergency: first aid kits are complete, legal requirements are met, and everyone knows where to find what they need. Together with the Red Cross, he has also organized refresher courses to bring our first aid knowledge up to date.
💡 Conversely, Max also brings some of his QM skills to his volunteer work: “My precision can be a bit annoying at times,” he says with a wink, “but in the end, everyone benefits from structured processes.”
Fortunately, we haven’t had any serious incidents yet—but it’s reassuring to know that we’re well prepared thanks to Max. 👏
Thank you for your commitment, dear Max!
