Andrea Zudrell

andrea-zudrell
The vivid explorer

With a big appetite for exploring the world and a bag full of ideas, Andrea set off and left her home in Western Austria to see places. She first moved to London and savored the city life, then travelled to South East Asia and Africa.

After returning to Vienna, she studied veterinary medicine and followed, hence following love for books and her strong interest in all kind of animals – the big and very small ones. Yet she’s very fond of a particular one – her dog Kathi.

Both Kathi and her darling best-daughter-ever keep her on her toes with their vivacity and jollyness.

A passionate character, Andrea now follows her new passion at DREHM Pharma: Medical Writing and Pharmacovigilance.

Anna Wultsch

The sunshine lady

anna-wultsch

Here comes an optimistic person to the core!

With a smile on her face, Anna enjoys a variety of things like travelling, cooking, dancing, crocheting, swimming, folding origami cranes to relief daily stress or just hanging with friends. She’s a real sucker for literature – no book is safe! – and music: humming and singing in every situation, Anna likes to perform in a band.
But that’s just half her talent: During her studies in biotechnology and molecular microbiology, Anna travelled for research all the way to New Zealand (Plant and Food Research) and worked at the university to share laboratory skills with doctors-to-be.

Since fall 2014 she’s up to new challenges with supporting the DREHM Team in Regulatory Affairs and Food Supplements.

Eva Bauer

The Eagle-Eye

eva-bauer

Whenever possible, Eva is out in the open air – you can meet her on the back of her Icelandic horse, hiking hills and woods in Austria and abroad – or while fancying archery.
Whatever she does, she always carries her camera with her, as photography is one of her big passions – and she needs her keen eye for both photograpy and archery.
On a rainy day, she enjoys doing her regular Yoga-workout or spinning around some Salsa moves.

A little whirlwind, Eva started early to discover the mysteries of nature, which resulted in her joining the world of science:
Eva studied biomedicine and biotechnology and spent some time in Leipzig where she took part in a visiting research fellowship.
Back home, she finished her PhD-studies and discovered the joy of writing.

In 2016, Eva joined the DREHM Pharma Medical Writing-Team and shares her photographic skills whenever necessary.

Irene Jonas

The multitalented cats-dogs-and-animals-lady

irene-jonas

Drug products, food supplements, cosmetic products, medical devices – few fields in the pharmaceutical industry are foreign to Irene, who has been a pharma eclectic for almost 20 years.
She gained experience in scientific and medical affairs, regulatory affairs and lifecycle, pharmacovigilance, product development, marketing, training, quality management…and is still keen to learn and experience new things.

However, it all started in a very different way…
As a little girl, she prefered sharing her lunch with the swans sitting nearby the pond than eating it herself. This led to her studies of veterinary medicine and years of practical experience.
By watching and studying animals in many ways, Irene decided to break new grounds and to specialise in behavioral training and behavioral medicine, which adds perfectly to her pharmaceutical and veterinary skills.

A Dr. Freud for little fluffy creatures, her couch is the perfect place not only for house cats and furballs of many kinds, but also for 2-legged pet owners.

Irene joined the Team Regulatory Affairs in July 2015.

Johanna Klocker

johanna-klocker
the ChocolateYogi

Always riding on the crest of a wave, Johanna swam her way happily through childhood and many swimming competitions. Later at university, she transitioned from nutrition science into the pharmaceutical world.

To keep her spirits and energy high, she always makes sure that her favorite treat and energy booster, chocolate, is within easy reach. At DREHM Pharma, her fully stocked chocolate drawer is well known (and often visited) by all! As a student, Johanna used to swim laps around Lake Constance (Bodensee) to compensate for the extra calories, but after moving to Vienna, Johanna found a new solution: Yoga! She greets every morning with sun salutations and every evening with meditative repose.

In this way, Johanna stays both spiritually and physically in shape while pushing her career ever forward.
Currently she expertly juggles several different hats in our office (including Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and as Head of Quality Management and Product Development/Production with calm nerves, a cool head and the sweetness of chocolate.

Karin König

The creative Herbalist

karin-koenig

For as long as she can remember, Karin has always felt at home in the garden. Her love of plants goes back to her first experiments cultivating vegetables and herbs, as well as making her own organic products such as lip balm.

Currently she grows about 50 different herbs, including some unique and rare items. In addition to her botanical passions, Karin is also pationate about handicraft and various types of needlework. She loves to work with natural fibers and to dye natural materials with various herbs.

With a degree in Food Science and Biotechnology, Karin enjoys working in the field of Regulatory Affairs.

Meanwhile she decided to go back to her „roots“ and devote herself to the study of applied plant sciences. This focused study helps Karin gain a much deeper understanding about the work that she is already doing and helps to open even more opportunities for the future. She loves finding connections, especially in herbal medicines, between her work at DREHM Pharma and her study at the university.

Mariam Motamen

The spinning pastry chef
mariam-motamen-500
Curiosity, sportiness and pleasure – these 3 keywords perfectly describe Mariam, who is looking for activity in all fields.

Her curiosity was the motor to study International Business Administration at Vienna’s University, then to discover the studies of Molecular Biotechnology at FH Campus Wien, and now to regularly travel to Bonn for her „Master of Drug Regulatory Affairs“.

Training the brain is one thing, but challenging the body is another important bit in Mariams life: She loves to work out in Spinning classes or to stay fit with all sorts of sportive activity.

The highest pleasure for her to eat, to discover the tastes of the world – and to create the most magnificently decorated cakes you can imagine.
Her talent in project management helps her to bring structure in her days filled with activity.

Mariam joined the Team Regulatory Affairs of DREHM Pharma in October 2017, sharing all her skills in a calm, albeit passionate way.

Mario Koller

Mr Ants-In-His-Pants
mario-koller

„We Can Do It!“ – this is what describes Mario in a perfect way.
Being producer and screenwriter of „Blockbuster – life is a movie“ – Austria’s first self-financed fund-raising motion picture, dedicated to support St. Anna’s Children’s Cancer Research Institute – just in his spare time? No problem!

Finding DREHM Pharma turned out to be the ideal match to his philosophy: A company working, acting and thinking out of the box, not shy of stepping onto unknown paths.

After starting in the fields of Regulatory Affairs and Medical Writing of drug products, his current expertise is focused on Food/Dietary Supplements and Business Development.
In addition, Mario is lecturer at Danube University Krems.

To give is initial studies of veterinary medicines a special extra, Mario added his pharma management MBA to his portfolio – to follow DREHM’s vision and attain the common goals of DREHM and their clients in a sustainable way.

Sandra Götsch-Schmidt

The Horse Lady
sandra-goetsch
Sandra loves the natural world and all its creatures (although some more than others). Her innate curiosity gives her a strong thirst for knowledge, which she tries to satisfy with many different experiences and varied interests.

Her strong love of animals lead her to study veterinary medicine. After graduating from university she followed the tracks of James Herriet by working at a mixed practice in England for two years. Indulging further in her wanderlust sent her to even more remote corners of the earth. Whilst trying to improve her karma by working for various animal welfare organizations around the world, she started her quest to discover new bird species to add to her life-list. After spending several years away from home, she followed her heart back to Austria, knowing that there really is no place like home. She dove back into her studies in a doctoral program where she discovered the joy of scientific research and medical writing.

In 2009, Sandra joined the DREHM Pharma Regulatory Affairs Team.

Meanwhile, she is head of our Medical Writing department and joined the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA).
When she is not composing new literary masterpieces, she can be found out and about horse riding, mountaineering and bird watching.
Sandra thrives on new challenges, especially where creativity is required, and always keeps a keen bird-watcher’s eye on the fine details.
