A workday in the life of …

… Head of Business Operations Nora Fernbach.

Nora’s typical workday usually starts a bit turbulent at 6:15. ⏰ Because with two children it can get hectic in the morning. (Usually) punctually at half past eight, the three of them set off – first stops being school and kindergarten – before heading off to the office.

At 9:00 she already has her first meeting and then the well-deserved first coffee of the day ☕️, preferably in the DREHM Café with colleagues. For Nora, communication is the key and an integral part of her workday. 💬 Personal exchange as well as regular meetings with the management and departments.

As Head of Business Operations, Nora is responsible for process development and optimization within the company. Her organizational talent is just as practical as her to-do lists 📝, which she likes to write and even more so prefers to check off. ✔️

Around 11:00 a.m. she has a late breakfast and the second coffee. At 2:30 p.m., she goes home again, picks up the children and tries to spend as much time as possible in the fresh air – preferably at the playground or on bike rides together in the spring. 🚴‍♀️

Twice a week, Nora works from home. The morning routine remains the same, but she has coffee before her first meeting. And when the weather is particularly nice, she uses the lunch break for a short walk in the Augarten. ☀️🌳

Nora prefers to start work early so she can devote the afternoon to her children. And thanks to the flexible workplace, she also has the perfect balance between face-to-face and Teams meetings. 😉
