In keeping with World Women’s Day, last Friday we congratulated two employees on their new leadership positions: Nora Fernbach as Head of Business Operations and Alisha Akii as Head of HR. 🎉
Thus, 6 of the 8 head positions are filled by women. With 83% women in the company, this is self-evident to us. But is it really? 🤔
Although the proportion of women in the pharmaceutical industry is increasing, including in management positions, there is still a lot to be done in terms of equality. From equal opportunities to fair pay.
We try to do our part by showing that
🙋♀️ Competence has nothing to do with gender. Our 54 female experts are the best example of this.
🤝 Supporting and promoting our female employees.
🧩 Creating the right framework conditions. Flexible working hours, for example, to be able to combine work and family in the best possible way.
And not just one day a year, but every day.
